Will need to source an A/C pump and take it apart for the bracket, to support the power steering pump. Otherwise it will put a lot of strain on the pas pump due to vibration.

Encountered some issues though, gearbox came without a bellhousing, but it did come with a fork. Never bothered checking what setup it was from. Ended up shit, way too short. New one on the way from Toyota.

Also, the turbo inlet that I got, does not seem to have a pipe where the idle control valve connects to. Its the black pipe that goes around the back of the engine. Anyone know what I should do with it?

Gearbox cross member didnt bolt up ideally, so will have a play tonight and see if I can get it secured better.

Made some changes to the JZX110 turbo intake to accept the JZX100 idle control valve pipe.

Since I'll be running an oil filter relocation kit along with a cooler, I decided to bypass the oem oil cooler since logic tells me that the oil will never get colder than the coolant temp. And if your coolant temps are high, that will in turn increase the temprerature of oil.... Undesired in my opinion.

The power steering pump is usually supported by the air con. Without it I have heard stories that the pas pump bracket snaps the fixing point on the block. So option one was to find an air con pump and remove the bracket, but cant find anything for a reasonable price, so went ahead and mocked up a template for a bracket.

A new water pump turned up. Which was a bit of a joke actually. Paid £80 for it, then parcelforce sent me an invoice for £35 'customs charges'.... Someone obviously cant do maths...

Not sure if anything else needs to be connected to the ECU to make it run. But that's all I'm aware of for the ECU. So if anyone has anything to add, they are more than welcome :)

He did, It was like 1.5k or something I think. Worth every penny.. As soon as that sucker showed face, it was reenforced with carbon and kevlar to ensure it can take all the abuse thrown at it! :D No point in having BN, if the cars not slammed and sideways :D haha.

The Beams went to some race company in Peterborough to sit on a dyno. Nearly sent it to Finland though to go into an AE86 :D

There wont be any jet noises with this one. Just pure, raw, angry JZ madness!

It is kinda my goal to write this up in as much detail as possible, since a lot of people believe that these conversions are not possible without paying someone stupid money to do it. I will also write up the cost of everything I had to buy once the car is running. Will give people some financial idea.

Got an aux belt. Ordered 1880 but 1890mm arrived.

Blanked off some pipes on the manifold that aren't needed. From memory, they are used for various things on the jzx100 which I don't have, such as the charcoal canister, heater switch, power steering idle up etc.... fuck that shit!

The heater matrix hose on the jzx comes out on the different side to the Altezza. That means you have to route it back to the drivers side. Nothing exciting.

Got a fuel filter, but not sure if I will use it just yet, since I have one in the fuel tank, but I might need to remove it when I modify it. Will see. Better having one, than not!

Body plugs, all repinned and marked up ready to be wired to the engine. These are responsible for a few things. Power to sensors, injectors, coilpacks, starter signal, oil pressure, alternator signal wires, gearbox speed and reverse sensors etc... These will be wired into the JZ plugs that dont plug into the ECU on the engine loom.

Main reason was because I couldn't drop the fuel tank down because all the bolts were grinded down from scraping them against the ground. Got them off in the end though

Cheers guys. Before anyone says anything about my fuel lines, lol. They will be redone after the car is running in braided lines and legit bulkhead fittings. Just don't have those funds to spare at the moment :)

Figured out a bit more wiring. Grey chassis plug (BA1) has two black wires. These will need to be connected together to allow the starter relay to be operated.

Will be responsible for sending 'STA' signal to the JZ ecu to let it know that its being cranked so that it can adjust the parameters accordingly to start the engine.

Sorted the fuel pump this weekend.

Tank is divided into two parts. There is a jet pump which draws fuel from one side to the other where the pump is. When the fuel return is fed back into the tank, it needs to feed the jet pump.

In tank fuel pressure regulator that normally feed the jet pump is stuffed full of epoxy putty and crimped (hammered) shut.

Thanks man. The wiring isn't actually too bad when got the wiring diagrams to help. All pretty straightforward once you get the basic understanding of the engine management system.
