the best clutch

i know nothing about clutches so what clutch would be best for my car.. 180sx sr20det it gets ridden alot so has to be strong but not cost a million. cheers big ears

iv an ORC clutch and my god its some clutch to take abuse!! :)

Jay, Damien had one in his SR20, give me a buz tomorrow and il see has he still got it!

he only drove the car, never drifted with the clutch.. :rolleyes:

its a daily driver i dont drive fast just tipp alot but gonna try get to as many drift days as possible so needs to be strong

shoudlnt be dying though from daily use, i mean, the car was designed to be driven around every day!

I always seem to get new standard clutches for my yokes, always do the jobs unless uve got crazy power!

Ya ORC is the bomb! or OS Giken But very dear!!

Ive a buddy sellin a nearly new 3 paddel exeddy with pressure plate and release bearing for E200 if ur intrested?? He is in kilkenny? think it came out a crashed 180 wasnt in it long??

If they`re the red ones on ebay with a yellow oval with XTD in black lettering then they`re useless.

The yellow cased ones on DW are meant to be excellent.

Ive a triple plate OS Giken and its a gas clutch, its very severe if you were going real hard id say you'd break all round you.

Running exedy paddle in the drift car, so far so good.

i'm no expert but i had an exedy paddle. Great clutch but a bit severe for traffic. Fried that. Not the clutchs fault. The shaft cracked and welded it to the fly :( deane then fitted a helix paddle. Very easy to use in traffic. That was nearly 2 yrs ago and never a days bother wit it and it does get abuse :)
