Hi lads and ladies,
I'm new to the world of Rwd cars and I thought that a Silvia would be a good place to start. So with help from dori Rory I picked up this a couple weeks ago and plan to get it started in the New year, so I thought id make a build thread to keep track of what I find and how it comes along,

Yeah I'm very happy with it plenty power, I'm just gonna get spec wrote up now soon when I figure it all out ha ha

I'm a part time detailer and I gave 2 of the wheels a light clean to see their condition, also pissin about with paint colours too

lots of bits on it as far as i remember. needs lowering, needs to lose the paint, then will be 10x better!

Cheers lads, yeah basically it just needs painted and then all the suspension set up, oh and a set of wheels because as far as I can make out the fronts are et55, with a bolt on and 2 floating spacers,
Yeah Irish car rare enough to get a 2000, we'll iv never seen one anyway,
Paint job is first on the list after the strip down, I'm thinking proper dark black, any good colours out there
Is it painted ? Or plastidipped? It's a cool car just needs the right color best of luck with it dude :-)

That looks like a great start man. Love the hydro position. You gonna keep the colour subtle or crazy luminous

Ya I like it. Keeps the daily driver aspect too. What about aqua print. They'll plastic dip it any colour for 700
Nah I want to paint it because I'm a detailer and I want this thing to have a glass finish and be a proper gleaming example, until I use it lol

You should have 555cc injectors to match the stage 2 ecu too. That's what you're meant to have anyway.
Really nice car man (except paint and dildo gearknob)....... loving the rocket bunny spoiler + rest of the kit!
The wheels looked 10x better after a bit of a polish - If it was painted midnight purple - It would be perfect!
Nice car to start as most of the guys said.
I saw it in Sandyford couple of months back. Not sure if you were driving it or the previews owner.
Thanks lads, yeah I did read that about the injectors to be honest haven't even looked I have the car in the garage since I got it and I'm more or less just gettin body all tidied up for Paint ,
