would you import ? there affordable and common going through the auctions with big specs too .

Budget 9-10k for good spec manual, 5k-6k for minty mint auto with a few bits on it

Your looking minimum 2k but realistically 3k+ to get someone to convert alot work involved
I have the 99 one on dd for sale if your interested. Lovely clean car. Front mount intercooler hidden nicely behind front bumper. PM or ring if intetesed
Dont know that man, but the auto's over there are mint compared to manuals, i look through the auctions most nights as im trying to buy one or two cars over there and a clean rust free grade 4 manual will be 10k+ rougher be a bit less, lovely auto went through the other night with power fc ect in it, grade 4.5 sold for equivalent of 6500 delivered, pfc is worth 1k all day long second hand!
power fc not worth near that can get them at 500 all day long out of aus.
Manual swap is harder get all the parts together than the money even at 2kish
I have clutch pedal and master cyl and brake pedal if you go that route.
people are mouthing everywhere about 5-6k landed for a jzx100 chaser from japan when it comes down to it take the cost price in Japan and add about €3k for tax's,shipping,vrt and fees to whoever you go through jdmauction watch etc + agents fees in Japan .
After all that you have to NCT and tax the bitch so a 6k car becomes 9k easily but you will have a mint fresh example from Japan once the grade is high .
Or I could just buy your car jimmy and everything is sorted
What was wrong with Mike G's old one? That got feic all use over the years.
No it's not a bad car really ,clean body but would need a touch up here and there the kit would need to be repaired and just silly trims missing , the clutch you'd want two people to stand on it , rear coilovers where banging , gearbox had a whine from it but gearing was fine
Made him an offer but he wudnt budge from 9k
All the gearboxs whine man thats r154's for ya ha agri spec.
Paintwork on mine needs a few touch ups aswel so dont know if it would suit ya.

Whining gearboxes seem to be common enough. It'll be hard to find one not needing a few bits here and there with them still being relatively rare.
Who's mouthing about prices, anyone on my FB page see's what goes through :confused: The last PFC on here for jzx went within a day of been put for and price was 1k, Ive money in japan and ill gladly source any car for anyone in japan including all that goes with it if im paid for the time spent sourcing and getting stuff translated ect
Lots of people stephen. Fair play to the lad getting 1k pat on the back required. Plenty of people prepared to import cars on request paddy at jdm auction watch couldn't be more helpful and straight forward danny86 is bringing in a 32 4 door through him and is happy out with the service.
