this has happened to my 180 and my buddies 200 it is a common problem in the sr engines. check that the bracket from the exhaust to gearbox is fitted? Have the bolts come loose in the manifold?

6th s body and getting well sick changing them now:rolleyes: dowpipe with flex seems to make improvement on how long they last imo

have you a after market mani? is the L bracket on it? -- they help stop the mani crackin an twistin out of shape...

Sometimes it's the nuts that come loose which can be overcome by locking manifold nuts or exhaust paste on the studs but it's messy.
