Yep there was a blank switch in the dash so just used that instead mate...

Looks nice fitted back in the car, in the second pic have you used cardboard as a template to block off the rear of the vent before you fitted the gauge holders??

I didn't know myself dude :) I was just given a dash and 4 gauges and let loose and it was cheap as chips to build :afro:

Lmao :) Its a sheet of fibreglass cut to fit, I'm always chopping up spoiler and bonnet vents so I keep the off cuts for this like this...

No idea of what the name at this minute mate, same stuff my bodyshop mate uses, definitely not P38 anyways, never liked working with that for the right finish unless they have changed the formula over the years... I used P40 fibreglass for the base thou, lighter than filler and less chance of cracking, the top coat is filler only.

Thanks Ger :) Was thinking of doing a similar job for the Mazda's if I could be bothered. Its always my own stuff I hate doing but gimme something to do for anyone else and I'm happy out LoL

Thanks dude, it was more a case of function over form though, I could have just fitted them but this way they turn as they go from right to left so they are facing the driver and its easy have a quick glance. Over versions of this were just recessed in. Mike showed me what he wanted and I just did my own thing but paid off :)
