I got a set of FK coilovers off Mike today. can't go wrong for the money :)

What is it? a 318i or 320?
I've a few 4.1 and 4.27 cwps alright that'll fit and could stick it in for you but it would be a prick of a yoke as a daily driver with doing about 5000rpm at 60mph.
The standard 318i diff isn't too bad to be honest as a 3.45.
Something that would really make a big difference is if you burn the clutch out of it and then fit a flywheel and clutch from an E30 325 to get rid of the shitty heavy dual-mass peace of shit.
For cheap wheels, you could try some E34 5 series cross spokes. They have a decent enough dish on them and nice offset.
Seems everybody and his dog is on the E36 daily/drifter idea these days... can't beat them in fairness for the cheap skids. cheapy coilovers, welded diff, hydro and extra lock and you can't go wrong :D
