iv got a Bmw 318 there for €600..
ive s14 there and will have a 180sx in next week...
both road cars
@ dunnedrifting.. Was looking at it dismorning wat are they like to drift?
@bart need pics of both
An S-body would be the best starter, as if you want to upgrade in time it'll be easier and cheaper than a Bmw.
Though if you want something to wreck, then you'd get a Bmw cheaper and could buy something else if you get serious about drifting on track
You'll be making it very hard for yourself starting off in a 318! You'd want serious talent and commitment to even get it out continuosly! Any turbo'd s-body with coilovers, welded diff and spacers in the rack should get you out there and having fun!
Ye I'm only out for abit of crack in a wet evening as we have had a lot of it in last couple weeks I will eventually go onto bigger and more powerful stuf like skyline and that.. I've bein told the likes of an mx5 or 318is should be awright?
Just stay away from 4 cylinder bmw's ;)
Road car for a bit of crack I'd go for a mx5 or non turbo s13, both are very easy to run
bmws grand for abita wreckin here & there but require boot planted to headlamp, haha,
just sold 1 for 550 & all today wit nct...
but as said an s-body with a few small mods will be perfect for the real deal & easy to upgrade
I wouldnt be the person to ask what there like to drift properly, iv had it sideways once or twice not properly tho!! shes a twincam 1.9 engine with 140hp...
Id say its a bit harder since its a shorter wheel base than the coupes but id say its a fun challenge at the same time
E30 325i or you would get a 320i with a 2.5 in it for cheap, great crack in them yokes
few questions.... Will you be using it on the road all the time? how much driving do you do? How much are you willing to spend? dont forget insurance
personally id stay well clear of a 318is had one before only good for cruising, didnt really like it at all, you really have to go 100% to do anything with it which is ok on track but youll wont do feck all on the road except round abouts unless your used of drifting... got a lsd for it and it was crappy enough aswell and you dont really want to end up welding the diff on a road car.
id say ideally a sr s13, even a ca or a carlton or maybe a bmw with a bit more power (im not the one to ask 318 is the only bmw ive owned)
