gud few crashs!!!! at least 5 cars got really bad slaps!!
Best track Ireland has seen in years I think most were saying today!
Out of the Ama/Semi's best were CarParts.ie Drivers Pat Masterson and Sean Manning along with Nick Quelly,Mark Willis,John Hickey in what is a very under powered car was nailing the track. Diarmuid O Connell is a legend! The note off that 86 is sweet!Eh,Gem Synott and Mark. Mark Meegan was nailing the outter wall no prob.Eoin O'Sullivan too,Jesus so many today in Ama and Semi going well.
Pro drivers running well were Larry Love,Donal Garry who started to get to grips as the day progressed,Michael Swan tickled the tyre wall for fun on plenty of occasions and the man to beat this weekend is Alan Synott,He owns this track! If it stays dry he has this in the bag!
On a lighter note,Sunburn again...FML
That dude in the blue 86 is a hero !
Some serious balls out drivin outa him..... RESPECT :afro:
Some day....some track, some bumps and man spec clutch kicks! I'm struggling, never had drive so hard and concentrate so hard behind the wheel ever! The thought of tomorrow makes me very nervous.
struggled today just couldnt find me way with the car just wasnt on the ball ,great day had anyway !
Any pictures from today cant wait to see the action tomorrow
thanks lads, hopefully tommorrow goes ok. dennis you should be out there with me man :P
Got out on track at about 2 today. Have to say its epic fun to drive...or attempt atleast! Struggled a bit at times, but delighted to get a few laps in before tomorrow anyway. Main problem for me is going from 2nd to 3rd for the massive corner. Either shit clutch doesnt allow it, or if it does it doesnt have the power and man spec clutch kicks arent appreciated too much by the car. Ramped up the tyre pressure to 50psi and it got a bit better. Have to switch from 195.50s to 205/50s tomorrow though (all I have) so might have to ramp it up further. But on a positive note, not having to use the hydro at any point in the lap is pretty deadly! Should be great to drive and watch tomorrow though!
great day out there today, track is very good for the drivers and great to watch:)
should be a good day tomorrow and i just hope it stays dry.
so will sunday be ran the same way ? can't wait to see it now!! :afro:
Amen to that!!! That track wet will cause some amount of carnage otherwise!
Have to say im loving the track although it took a couple of runs to familiarise myself, a lot of concentration and forward thinking is required!
Only got about 4 laps as I gave my brother my practise rubber to use so he could get some more seat time in his new more powered RB, which only left Mapping in Birmingham with me at 4am this morning, eventually arriving to track at 1!
Looking forward to tomorrow now, i just hope theres not as much carnage, not nice to see, knowing the amount of work, effort and money that goes into the cars.
he is runnin a 16v with itbs, cams and pistons on a omex it makes 175bhp just shows how good of a driver he is even with so little power :D
