Sr's are lighter and cheaper to tune.
I wouldnt be into it though!
thats not being able to afford an rb imo .
as much as i love sr20's i wouldnt swap a rb20 for one. but at the same time it's an alternative to a blown rb20 if you've a spare sr20 there ..
rb engines are alot better i think
it wouldn't be worth changin
there was a r33 in mondello on sunday with a sr20 in it, but the car had a 2L non turbo in it to begin so it was prob cheaper to drop a sr into it then getting a rb
Lighter engines (from what I can gather over 70kilos in difference between a rb25 set up and a SR set up) cheaper to tune, more economical, more readily available at the moment, better weight distribution, cheaper tax than a 25,
any one know how much it would cost to put a sr into a r32
Ptttssssshhh, only if you had a spare one lying around, otherwise its a sin as Peter says!!!
Rb is the Bizznass!!!
well the skyline and the 300zx are based on the same chassie and ive an sr20 conversion just finnished into one so ill know very soon how good a job it is but the front end weight differance is huge
ya that skyline belongs to a buddy of mine. Sunday was his first day driftin. He was impressed wit it but reckons it need's more power. (but who doesn't think that anyway) its a good enough conversion if u have an engine lying around but wouldn't be my cup of tea otherwise.
Seriously thinking of SRing my R32 at some point.
if it were me id be stickin to the rb ... lol i put one in 200SX and it much better that before !!
