I wouldn't be an expert on this (mappers could answer), but as far as I know any modification to boost requires a remap to be safe safe, but i'm sure the fueling table maps on the ECU have some give. Alot of lads on here including myself, have up'd the boost with no problems, one lad running 1.2 bar if I remember. When your running the small t25's on near peak boost, there is alot of heat generated as the flow is very high, an intercooler really helps here. After a run in mondello, the turbo side of my intercooler was piping hot and the other side is way cooler (so they do their job well)
Just as I mention that, an oil cooler and a rad wouldn't be a bad idea either. My oil/water temp was true the roof after a couple of laps in mondello, so worth keeping an eye on with gauges.
