Ye I totally agree. I'll be one of the many that will have to take the day of work. On the bright side, less drivers means more track time, in theory.

think mondello are trying to get rid of drifting up there tbh.. they have new racing club now i think? maybe they want more weekends for that.
Personally i rather mid week dates,taking up less weekend time and a saturday is my busiest day of the week....how many dates a year to they run a max of 12? people have 21 days holidays a year like i dnt get what al the complaining is really? And as stated above,were only pocket money to them that in time will probally not worth their time running due to damage to track etc...end up the same as wateregrasshill. Fuck its a venue,a pretty fun venue and its still running,whether its a sunday or a monday does it really make that much of a difference? :)

If it's gonna be midweek from now on the price should be adjusted accordingly.
Obviously hiring of Ireland's only circuit would be alot more expensive at weekends
Also the amount of spectators would decrease dramatically.

mondello being irelands only race circuit they are bound to be booked up most weekends with some sort of race event be it,sallon,single seaters,bikes etc etc,so they cant fit drifting in,surely to have it on midweek is better than not having it on at all,and as soon as the busy season for mondello is over they will prob return it to weekends for drifting,they simply cant cater for every motorsport on weekends being the only track in the country

I think first of all Mondello should be commended for what they have done for the drift community in Ireland. There is many circuits when you would mention drifting would simply not be interested. Mondello is a business and has to survive in these tough times. My original post begged the question is there alternatives. I have noticed a place formily known as Kart City in dublin. whats the crack with it. surely it could be drifted.:D
