the last time i was due to go i had a small incident a few days before so the car couldnt make it bit of a kick in the nuts after paying but shit happens

the thing that i see is a bit weird is that the gardai came in and just sat there and had a look and seem to be enjoying themselves.. if the same lads were to go out onto the road they wud be getting slated for it aswell.

Its a big shame if this is the end of things there, You won't find many people who will disagree with the point that more areas need to be allocated for drifting but theres very much an attitude of 'not in my town'.

Its just typical of the NIMBY attitude of this country.
I mean its out of the way , in a safe and organised environment , no residential areas nearby and still they find a way to complain.

And as for the guards , when i was leaving the competition the last day, the guards pulled a handbrake for about 20-30 feet as they were lifting it out the gate ....

I bet theres one vigi aul one running the show! Stirring the shit. I'd say most people don't mind, as what you said.. it's out of the way... no hassle to anyone.
