put an sr20det into a s14 silvia have it turning over,fueling and sparking..
but it wont fire up..
what could be the problem here?

suggestions -an earth , coils ,
any other ideas ??
fuel pump? can you hear it or do you know its actually fueling?
fuel pump is makin noise alri goin to check up front by the pressure reg see if it will spray sum petrol out wen i turn the ignition on??
Did ya check the ignition amp sensor

and the (cas) cam angle sensor can cause dat aswel !!!
lad could be any thing.these problems are to hard to explain over a forum.
fpr too maybe?
boost pipe off anywere check them all!!
and maf wiring,
The engine wasn't firing at all?
Check the crank position sensor and the camshaft sensor . Check to see if the fuel pump is getting power and if there all good then check your starter and alternater circiut ! Hope this helps or buts ya in the right direction .

out at it all day 2moro so hopefully get it sorted an up and running hopefully
i had a thing like that happan to me before had the car sittin up for nearly 2 years:(. could'nt find out why it would'nt start.then i went and took the driver side wing off and found 3 broken wires,stuck them back together and bang, she was singin:). i think it could be something that simple,
its a zenki jap loom no nats
head is wrecked lookin at this yoke..:mad::mad:
any one want a job to get this yoke up and driving???

Don't know if this helps but I had that exact same problem with my 180.
It was turning over and not starting
I had the battery hooked up to a van:D, took off fuel line plenty of fuel being pumped in, kept turning and turning but wouldn't fire:confused:
The problem for me lead back to me messing with the wiring loom.
I accidentally brushed off some sensor?? don't know what it was for, it looked OK from distance, only when I reached down it was a bit loose (bad connection)
Then I turned and she fired up first turn:cool:

It's worth double checking all plugs and sensors;)

im in the same trouble help please......power going to coils but no earth pulse,so no spark ,starter signal wire not working either so giving it power manually ????????????????????????????????want to do mondello next week help us please sos sos sos
might be a stupid question but did you change the spark plugs? new ones might help?
