Noticed the car overheating a little popped the bonnet an there coolant bubbling in the overflow bottle an it's full to the brim I have a rad cap with a pressure realease on it could that just be the problem or is it something more serious?

maybe thermostat is fucked or the rad is blocked or something
Sounds like a headgasket unfourtunatly,
mind you its worth draining everything and refilling it as if its right to the brim u might have to much water in ur system and is causing the back pressure!
When u say bubling is it just bubbling, or is the water boiling over??
Ye I just put a nismo thermostat in it I tested it in boiling water was opening ok you s reckon it's only something small like that?
Well if it wasnt overheating before and then u change the thermo and it overheats I wouldnt be looking past the thermo for now!
Dont ignore the most obvious prob, sure bang the old one in and see what happens!

It s got a metal head gasket was fine then just took it for a short spin not driven it hard or nothin an just noticed it I felt the lower rad pipe and it was cold compared to the top one guessing the thermostat must be opening right !!
Ye I bleed the system bloody 3 times an used the bleed nipple

straight coolent, did ya bleed the system?
when i had overheatin and bubblin water it was a blocked rad.
straight (consintrate) coolant will cause an engine to overheat. concintrate coolant should be mixed 50/50... your problem sounds like thermostat or water pump to me..
take out that nismo stat and fire it away put back in the stock nissan one! and you will have no problems them nismo yoke are a disaster! iv had a few cars giving trouble with them yokes! and what pressure is the rad cap??
