Project Reliable - The M3

Hey All

As most of ye know i recently bought Paul Mc's M3. She is currently standard power etc and will be staying pretty much that way. Had her first day out last sunday and all i can say is im well happy with the power and handling etc. Its a serious machine. ;)

Plans aint huge, so far all ive done is a wire tidy inside and new brackets for the seat. Next will be new front wings, a good rolling and flare, a good tidy and a respray. Have plans to tighten up the rear subframe etc too and a few other small bits. This car will be ALOT more budget spec than the last car and hopefully ALOT more reliable. Took her for a good road run today, actually quite comfortable on the road but wayyyyy too loud. :D

Looked like you were welll comfortable in her on sunday .
Love the sound off her , she just roars...
but a respray is deffo on the cards , you got a colour in mind yet ???

Really love this. Lucky you had that deposit down on it aswell, as it was the only thing stopping it coming up to Maynooth here :(! Ideal drift car for a number of reasons imo, and wish you all the best in it for the year!

I think its the best low budget choice.
M3 is well proven machine.

Cant wait to see some serious smoke now, you MUST do at least the same wht Paul did with her :D
It was always one of my favorite cars in Ireland drift scene.

best of luck with the car man, this should be all new experience for you with no big reliability issues ! :)

by any chance do you know anyone that is selling 30mm/40mm or maybe even 50mm spacers M3 fitment ? or machines them? i know this car had such as some stage or his other one.......

Coming on well now, all's coming to plan so far, wheels ordered, subframe fitted, car is now at mulveys he's gettin her rolling then its goin back to MCN Sport, for some final adjustments, then back to mulvey for wiring and engine/box fitment, im lifting it in cork in less than 2 weeks, so pressure on to have it out for march 5th, but wouldnt have it any other way!

Be good to battle with ya soon ted :)

bishopscourt is on the same weekend, a 2 day event, ama on saturday and Division 1 drivers sunday, why not try your hand at both? cheap entry fee should be fun!
