T1-R's are a great all rounder and wont break the bank...Handkook RS-2's are another decent tyre in same category
Higher up the chain and more expensive are
-Toyo 888's
-Yokahama A048's
-Toyo R1R
-Kuhmo v60, first hand experience and there very very good and worth every penny imo, medium compound best bang for buck.
Really any of above and best one suited to your budget!!
Federal RSR = win
the toyos are cheap. and also im not going competing on them or anyting just a bit of understeer.
i priced R888 on that camskill website but there stupid money but everyting else is grand???
1 of the lads got 15's for a civic and they were 70 euro a piece in waterford somewhere and there nearly 112 euro a tyre sterling on camskill?
Ive new R888's there for €85 if ya want them. 195/50/15
First off what size
oh sorry lads
so make things clearer
im looking for 215/45/17's
and on the R888 the brother is wanting a set of 4 for his nova
195/45/15's
and thats why i was saying about the dear price.
Better off running225s or 235s up front more tyre contact.....!
jus go wit the t1r's dude there good money an they'll give you very good front end grip
Not a overly great tyre for track use....! Hankook rs2's are around the same money and are far better.....! And as micko said if ya wanna go higher up the budget there all good.....!
I couldnt recommend VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA enough...
i had good experience with T1r's and i can say i think personally there the best all round tyre for the front.
yeah i think they may be the tyre to go for
the t1rs be more than enuf grip for ya man your not competin on a pro level or doin huge speeds so ya dont need mad expensive tires
Got sorted anyway lads got the toyos
Hanover Tyres in Waterford are very cheap for Toyo's. I find them cheaper than Camskill, well worth a call
Hankook rs2 :D
t1rs are poor in rain
