this is what happens when a fuckin fool drops a shim in the head and thinks to himself ah that will be fine it cant go anywhere.... i'll just put in another one shur.....all shims were in place in the head and one comes free in the cylinder:mad:

Nasty! That reminds me of a day meself and another guy were rebuilding a 328 engine and he had a new drill box on the slam panel to hold all the bolts. Were almost done after stripping it for new pistons, valves etc and he bejasus'd the box and sent bolts everywhere. Got them all bar one. He thought fuck it its probably fallen down onto a chassis leg or something. It hadn't. It was in the inlet manifold :D

one of the lads down here joe bought it and wanted to fit a metal head gasket so gave it to a local lad ""that has a lift and a angle grinder so thinks his a mechanic""
