if you work for someone and have any sort of responsiblity in your job its not gonna be seen upon kindly if you take a day off midweek every month to burn the money they pay you!i know your entitled to but thats the way theyd see it,the last lad i worked for had a fit when i looked for a half day to go to a dentist! having said all that im not complaining to loud and ill still be doin my hardest to be at as much drift days as i can afford!

didnt realise anything was gonna happen in collon i look forward to that but the kerbs are high the track is tight and the owner strikes me as a lad whos fond of his grass!

I have huge amounts of responsibility in my job....but what goes around comes around i guess,work a late night here and ther etc etc....

I dunno i just personally think tis is al a bit OTT....Mondello is a Business,there to make money even with motorsport at its best interest,but theres just some many different genres of racing and championships to have to run obviuosly a practice day will be put down the list of importance....its still running like feck it...be worse if they didnt run them anymore?:o

by the way i was in no way implying you are an irresponsible fuker in your work!:D most greedy fukers i worked for were all take with no give,the more i gave the more they looked for more,still cant complain i lead a life of leisure now because of the dough i made:)

Who ever started this thread (didnt bother checking) would want to get their facts straight.I emailed sharon in mondello and this is the reply (no this is not april fools shite).. Can people not post stuff like this getting my nickers in a knot or steps will be taken !

Wording of email I received

Mondello Park has allocated Friday April 8th as the next Drift Practice Day at the circuit.

After the fully booked March 19th day, we have received many requests to name the next date which will see Drift Practice at the circuit on April 8th. As we move into the spring/summer season, there will be less weekend availability as the circuit is committed to a multitude of events over the next 6 months.

Friday April 8th will run from 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:30 and Mondello Park has now introduced a half day option on our mid-week drift days which will hopefully facilitate those who cannot commit a full mid-week day to Drift Practice or who have less money to spend.
Drifting Practice - Friday April 8th

Mondello Park has announced the next Drifting Practice day as Friday April 8th. In recognition of the fact that participants disposable income is shrinking and that many cars struggle to run for a full day, we have introduced a new mid-week half day option for participants. The morning session will run from 10am to 1pm and will cost €65. The afternoon session will run from 2pm to 5:30pm and cost €85. Participants can still book for the full day at a cost of €140.

It is hoped the new format will facilitate those struggling to get time off work or with budgets and facilitate them to be able to keep drifting on a half day basis rather than having to stop altogether. Its likely the afternoon session will be most popular and as such, the morning session may offer participants greater track time.

So don't delay! If you want to participate contact the office now and confirm your place now.
Drifting practice has become popular with both the competition and amateur drifter alike as it offers the chance to get more drifting experience under your belt than you would achieve in a full season of competition. The sessions run on a shortened, more flowing version of the Mondello Park National Circuit, which creates non-stop drifting action that is highly popular with spectators and participants.



A full competition car is not required, Roll Cages are not compulsory and passengers are allowed, making Drifting Practice ideal for Competition Drifters and Track Day drivers who find drifting opportunities restricted on regular Mondello Park Track Days. Normal Mondello Park Track Day rules and regulations apply (for further information see HERE).
