yes we did have a oil restrictor on it the problem is there a plastic cage on the bearings they also generate huge heat in the engine bay i normally took off the bonnet it used to boil the power steering fluid so lost power steering fluid also i would reccomend a screamer elbow on it to reduce heat i was running it at 1.3 bar boost pullin third no hassles wit it but they run outta guts at bout 6k if i was bak again id have gone for a jrp gt 30 drove jamies car wit 1 on it and the power was mental on a standard engine and it ran 1.8 bar boost all day safely tbh im only speakin from experience gained from my mistakes and the amount of them that i no have shat themselves although now i believe they can be got with wrc steel bearings in them which should be ok but the turbo must be specified with them fitted
