Man u are unreal. You take on the most demanding projects and make it look so easy. cant wait to see it finished
did you look into using a bmw v8 that was a factory manual,
just wondering would it be a better option or is there somthing im overlooking
This is defo one of the best builds on di,along with ur JZ mini, Brendans RX8 & Jays S14. all top builds with top craftmanship!!

im not too sure when il have the next update up but it wont be too long id say!
Looks like loads of fun....
Piece of piss from the looks of thing
I decided to take a few pieces off the engine today, including the auto gearbox.
i might try something different to convert it to manual.
Since i have the 1jz for the mini lying around i said i may as well see how the flywheel off that fits the 1uz, this is how i got on.:)
first fit of the fly wheel looked promising.

this is the first problem i have, the ring gear doesn't have a large enough diameter. But i think this is solvable but removing the ring gear off the 1jz flywheel and replace it with enough of the ring gear from the auto 1uz. Hard to explain, ye will ave to wait and see!:p

this is the next problem with the flywheel, this is the same problem you would have with an mr2 flywheel, its a simple fix tho only needs to be re-drilled.:D

Now back to problems.
the engine is hitting the fire wall in a few places, again an easy fix.:p

http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/.../Photo0254.jpg
Another problem, this is my own fault tho.
the sump is hitting the cross-member by a nice bit, il probably have to cut a section out of the cross-member and out of the sump then il will surely fit properly.

http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/.../Photo0257.jpg
the last problem are my engine mounts, when taking the engine out half of one came with the engine the other half stayed in the car.:(
SO THOSE ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET HOCKEY PUCKS FOR ENGINE MOUNTS?????
i cant find any!

last but not least are a few pics of the car with the rad in.
