Mercedes Clk 1UZ Powered - now with boost!

I havnt updated this for a while, i have a bit of work done since the last update so this is where the car lies at the moment.


i have the basic cage done, and the rear suspension points have the bare minimum done to just get it rolling.

Thats all i have for now but i will have the car fully rolling and steering soon, so when i have all that done il be moving on to the engine and gearbox!:cool:

Also my v8 started running shit the other day when i went to move it.
after a bit of investigation i found that it was running on 4 so there are a few obvious things to check, coil, distributor ........

Have a guess what was at fault!;)

so ya the right banks rotor arm decided to shred itself, at least its a cheap fix!:)

Ya will keep it in mind ,might need a few little bits and pieces.

are you going to break down in this thread how you manual'd the 1uz

the parts you need and how you sourced them
u know * bell housing
* flywheel
* starter
etc

im intrigued by manualing one of these but am a bit overwhelmed by it all

i have a 1uz and a w58 just looking for guidance on the process of manualing it
