if ye left the last bit out id have been impressed! i dont think ive ever seen a car slide off so far as to hit the tyre wall at any great speed,or maybe i just wasnt lookin hard enough!
the left/right hander out the back of the pits should definately be called that ,its claimed plenty of cars

would there ever be a chance prodrift would run a different series of bends or is the fact that the stand is where it is mean they will always use the same?
be interesting to see somewhere else along the track be used,technically you could get a whole bunch more drift tracks just in mondello using any combination of different bends

Id say where the stand is and general spectator access and safety would have a big say in where the eveny could be held, so those 2 corners would still be the most usable by far. That said, its a very good point, there is a lot more track around the back. There is a part of the International track way down the back thats perfect for an event, I drove there on a hospitality day for Bridgestone at the end of last year and there is a 90 right into a 90 left, manji the straight, into a long hairpin, keep it lit up the next straight and finish on a big angle hairpin right, all high third gear bar the last hairpin. I think it was used a few years ago for licence day and it would make an epic competition track if it was possible to use it

yeah thats what i was getting at,i think that 90 left right is druids or septica, i remember being at a big modified show back in 04 or so when there was a drift demo round there and it was savage,it was the time of the white p100 and a mk2 escort it was either a light blue rs2000 or a white flat front
