Finally after farting around with different spacers, haha, i got a set that fit, sorted fitting them and modifying the hubs today.
Getting the tyres fitted to the rims in the morn, and on the car so the car will be sitting right. will get pics when i do.
Will be heading to the panel beaters soon after then.
Serious work being done there scamper!! Should have serious stance when the kit and wheels are on and the coilovers are down to the last

Haha niall ya bollox, nah i wasnt taking any because i have to change things and need to fix my arches, not happy wit it at the moment.

Haha true darragh, ah id say i need bigger spacers, i also might be ripping off the rear arches and throwing on a new set, ill know more on monday week as im taking it into the panel beaters then.
The wheels arent sitting out like i would like them too. front seem fine tho.

Was a delay on getting the transporter, so only got started on this today have no pics as of yet, but will have as time goes on, trying to get the car sitting right is the first plan.
Trying to cut up standard metal arches is some pain in the hole when there is already fibreglass fenders moulded on. Really want the new wheels sitting right so it has to be done, just stripped the car and attacked the back arches today.
Got them sitting nicely under the arch but i need 30mm spacers instead of 20mm. then should be A1!!

Havent done anything this week, had a family funeral.
Should be starting on this properly monday morning, so should have a few updates next week.
These arrived the other day tho, 50/50 red and clear lights, and got a hold of the proper spacers i needed.

Update:
Made good progress on the car this week, got the two rear arches reinforced and cut up, so i can run better stance on the wheels, just waiting on a set of spacers i ordered last week

Also had a bit of a gap either side of the boot so i welded in a plate on either side to cover it , and got the boot ready for spraying
Boot is all cleaned out , removed the sound deadening, form under where th back seats will be all the way back
The boot will be sprayed black.

Then i made up brackets to mount on my new wider wings, lined them up welded them on and the lined up the wings with the bonnet to make sure all was ok

Thats all the pics i have, but i have the two wings prepped for primer, also all 180 doors come with a line running along the door through the door handle, im taking this out , and flushing the door flat, and have that nearly done and prepped for primer.
Had a few cracks and bits to sort out on the body and thats what im at in the morning.
Car is being undersealed in the morning

Haha too fucking long man, project fuckin recession it should be called, suppose if ya wanted to put a start date on it, i started buying bits in sept 09 and did alot of engine work round december that year then, being buying bits as i go then after that all of 2010, so it will have been an 18 month project by the time its finished.
Ah im happy to tip along im in no panic man.
