no its a greddy turbo
ah rite ya learn somethin new everyday:D
so as some of you may know at the last goldstone day out, something went pop or more like bang in the gearbox which left me with no drive:mad:. and to add to things, my mate with the lift i have been using has moved to OZ. so i got stuck in and raised the roof of the garage and got a new 4 ton two post clear floor lift. so gone are the days of crawling around on the floor..

got straight onto Dean Kearney as soon as i heard he was braking the MAXXIS PS13  and snapped up his r33 rb box conversion which includes box, custom bell housing, custom solid mount and crossmember, custom one piece prop shaft. Complete bolt on setup. i am in my f**k going rebuilding or changing sr boxes every time i take the car out, so this should sort that problem. Sure while i was there i thought it would be rude not to take the 4.3:1 diff too.
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/IMG_1518.jpg
now its just to find the time to get the sr stuff out and get this lot in.
here's a pic from that day at goldstone

update time.
after drift jam at punchestown i had a check around the car and noticed that the loom in the wheel arch was getting worn through by the tyre.
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...son/damage.jpg
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...on/damage2.jpg
so the only thing to sort this was to move it somewhere safe and protected.
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...osson/loom.jpg
out came the snips and labels. happy days:eek:
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...sson/loom1.jpg
read about some people having issues with heat and melting etc....when running the loom through the engine bay, so i decided to run it up through the chassis leg itself.
i used this gland, altho not very pretty it offers better support/protection for the cables, and at the end of the day this is the whole object of this job.
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...sson/gland.jpg
then i split the loom into 5 or 6 groups to allow them to pass through the chassis leg with ease and put conduit on each of the groups
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...sson/loom2.jpg
then simply fed them up through the chassis leg and soldered them all back together
http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...sson/loom3.jpg
gave her a check over to see if everything was working as should, and all is 100%, great success.i like !
few smaller bits were then added.
