Next ont he list was the suspension and steering! After the event in Portugal where i crashed quite hard there was alot damage done to the steering and suspension.

I could run more lock if i really wanted to, as the rack sltill has 5-6mm travel befro it bottoms out and its miles from going over centre! But that would be stupid! I think i have enough!

Steve has supported me for the last two years, and i have no doubt in his mapping skills atall!! I sold a few plates to Greg and we done a few deals, got chatting etc, also Greg helped me spec the cams to the engine and has a very good understanding of setting it all up mechanicly, i.e dialing in the cams with a DTI.Quote:

I take it back, i thought the car looked messy, the conservative kit with all the camber and the wing n stuff, but fuck me it looks awesome finished. And different too, which is a nice change!!

I had them flow tested (masive thanks to Garage-D)as they wer used, they wer with in 3% of each other and flowed to nearly 900cc at 3bar!!

On the wiring side, im going to be getting rid of the earth controll crap they come with as stock, run two new big earths(one to each pump). For the live, il be fitting twin relays on the dash with direct feed fromt he battery.
This is for the two earths, il be running the two lives throgh the original two pin plug..

Also, iv been making a new hand brake as the old one is starting to let me down more and more, the stadard type hydo does not offer the right feel for me, so im making one with more leverage............
still maintaining the stock lever for quick little adjustments mid drift.....
the idea is to make it as solid and precise as poss with no play side to side, or any chances of it ripping out the floor with the extra leverage, hence the beefyness of it.....

Red on the graphs is from yesterday with vvt working and at 1.7bar boost.
Green is from end of march when we 1st set the engine up and at 1.9bar.
So now its making about 80ftlb more torque at 4500rpm than befer with less boost:) And almost 25-50ftlb every where befor boost. Also note that it comes on boost 300ish rpm sooner. Yea its less power but i know which im going to prefer;)
