Because i'm sick of it being an expensive ornament just sitting on my driveway. I could have a cheap daily and something else to mess in if I sold it. Although if I get a job I might keep it. :)
Ive only thought about this now....wtf did you sell the wheels for? would make it so much easier to sell on the volks?

Needed money to get the bodywork sorted. The wheels that are on it now are only fit for drifting on really. Although they don't look too bad with spacers behind them.
Just ordered locking collars for the subframe so that's that job done. Ordered three sets so if they sort out my back end i'll sell them on and get the cost of postage back. :D
Your selling ah now if only i was staying around id take it off you hands without it giong spray shop and wheels (sorry :( not a fan)
Not a fan of the wheels myself, but needs must. It rarely gets driven these days so I don't have to look at the wheels too much. :)

Got a nice surprise today and received subframe and diff collars in the post all the way from Australia. Bought from Damo at Katsutadai works. Very helpful chap to deal with and fast delivery too. :D

Must get them fitted asap and see if they cure the cars wobbly back end. If they do, I have two more sets here so will be selling them to whichever JZX head wants them. :)

that the plastikote metal care paint your using?
its a savage colour. used it on the wheels of my octavia for a while.
it's tough stuff, but goes a kinda browny/purple color with the brake dust and shite on them.
but cleans up mint again.

@ Dara - ANything is an improvement with those wheels. I got the grinder out and trimmed the arches so I can fit the spacers on the front. But I read somewhere that if the spacer can jiggle about before you tighten the nuts, then it's not safe??

Got the Katsutadi works subframe pineapples fitted today. They haven't completely locked the subframe, but they have stopped the car's wandering handling and the subframe no longer clatters off the bottom of the car when the clutch is dumped. Happy days.

A guy came up to me in Punchestown really wanting to buy my car. He was kind of set on an 81 but there are none for sale. Although Raff said he might consider selling his so i sent him in Raffs direction. I have his number, ill pm it to you if you want to give him a shout maybe he might be interested... Worth a shot!
I'd say if his heart is set on an 81 he'd have no interest in a 100. All's not lost yet anyways so I would panic just yet.

Doing the last Port Laoise day highlighted a few problems that need sorting out. These include too soft suspension, a need for a proper seat and hydro, and a need for a new subframe.
So far I've managed to purchase a subframe and Keli bought me a nice dished steering wheel for Christmas. Im waiting on word about a seat and harness, and stiffer coilovers. Once I get those bought and fitted it will be back to attending practice days and having fun.
