Front Tyres Question

A tip I learned from a Belgian judge on a competition : to make the best of your front tires on DRY condition, install them reverse (on the contrary of the normal rotation). For security reason, tires are made to grip more when braking, so if you mount them reverse, you get slightly more grip ;)

Yeah it is, experienced it myself. On some tires you don't really feel a difference but on some other, definitely. Just try ;)

No it isnt, thread patterns are designed to grip when rotating a certain way, i would imagine the reason why that judge imagined he was right is because under braking the front suspension compresses putting weight in the tires and improving their ncontact patch with the road
