If it blows,SR it ;)
Blasphemy Mick!!! I guarantee if you heard the sound of my FC in person (pretty sure it has a mild street port) that you wouldnt care if you had to rebuild it every week lol, you'd still pick it over a boring same as everyone else sr. I'm actually hoping to take some new pics with a seriously improved stance next weekend, and I'll take some vids to show the sound too.
Rotaries are similar in a way to subarus. Yes they arent the most reliable engine compared to others. But nowhere near as bad as ppl make out either. Its just largely a case of ppl being afraid of the unknown IMO. Ask actual rotary owners their experiences and its nowhere near the horror story it seems to be made out to be lol. My 4AGEs actually caused me more problems ha :D
The same can be said for any engine that's been re built by a numpty !.
The problem with rotaries in Ireland is that very few people actually know much about them and a load of boys blow them up by messing around with them as if they're a conventional piston engine.
They need to be approached differently than your usual engines so do your research first and you should be fine.
I was skeptical at first but Im now a big fan of rotaries and especially the FC chassis. I believe you could have a seriously competitive FC for a lot less than an S body, especially when you consider Darren's prices on an engine build capable of big power .
Plus it will drown out every other car on the track and sound amazing, win win !
