When this was up for 3.5K in Waterford we went to look at! Was clean enough then but the kit had only got some fresh paint, the gearbox wouldn't take either 3rd or 4th I'm not to sure which and there was oil weeping from it! After a spin out the road and a chase from the Rapid Response unit we left it there! But that night 2.5K would have bought it, so someone is on for turning a few quid on it!
No offence but it would want to be mint for that money..my 180 had a serious spec on it..nctd for a year and taxed ready to rock and the best offer i got when i was selling it was €3500..and it had the 180 reg aswell..i ended up breaking it...but i think in and around 5k it wouldnt be a bad car to buy..it looks nice anyway..and as a few lads said someone is after tidying it up a bit and that costs money to do aswell trust me haha..
i was tempted to go and buy this..your man came down to 5500 pretty handy on the phone...id say he is just chancing his arm maybe for a foreign buyer?.but i just couldnt part with that much for a weak specced car...if that car had good spec and power and was factory fresh i would give 5500 and upwards all day
