Can't say much about the compounds cause I never used them. I prefer Autosol :afro:
keep them polished:cool:, the laquer will be good for a while but if it doesnt take proper it will just lift and you'll end up back to square 1.

I use the drill myself.
Get the red compound bar onto the mop and then the Blue compound bar on a loose mop and you end up with a great finish.
Finally got around to doing this last week. Turned out very well. Jacked up the back of the car, pulled out a stool and put it in 3rd gear. Made my way through the different grades of sandpaper and finished with autosol. Have a before and after pic there. Not bad for 20 mins per wheel! Cheers for the info lads :cool:
