Extra Lock Q? How much

u can get the driftworks offset rack spacers insted of modding the subframe also,..

when some lads are mad for getting more lock etc, and they have standard enough cars do they not realise they nead to get the rest of the car set up (e.g) the rear so that when the car is on full lock it has the grip and the power to pull itself out of the drift..

the offset bushes are dangerous cause they break the end of the rack but rest is bang on damo :afro:

You dont need to modify the subframe or use offset spacers with seamie's hubs.
I had offset spacers + took them off with I fitted his hubs.
No way will it go over centre :cool:

I was looking into this and seamies must have a bit of time and effort gone into it i.e angle of where the outer tie rod bolts to as i cant see how his dont come over center but both kits you need to modify your tie rods any way,
Id modify steering racks as its safer and cheaper than them geo-offset kit......

I'm using stock tie rods ;)
I made the rack longer on either side by making a bar witch threaded into the rack + has a thread to take the tie rod.
No fear of threads pulling "uses full 20mm of thread", or tie rod bending as it's stock length.

Sharings caring.... (just no crossing swords) What length either side did you use? 30mm? looked into doin that but the cost of the tap and die to thred both ends was 50ish and it didnt seem worth it....
