SR-E30 for sale/ swap

in fermoy rd 1 you did tell kav about the rear and from what i remenber he agreed with ya and said thanks, it was runnin standard suspension that day, there was no coilovers in it, we arched it and put coilovers in it, and its set for soft as possible, but still jumpy... trial and error build

now im no great driver, but i drove the bmw up in port laois the last day and its very hard to drive

all the stuff from the bmw is going back into a nissan and as said it was something he wanted to try for one season. it hasnt worked out so what harm..

your post about him being a bad driver is a bit lousy, this is alot of our first year at it, and some of us dont get as much practice as others

i can only imagine what its like to drive lad thats why i said about looking like a bad driver not the other way around, my post was ment to have some humer to it not be a dickhead!! maybe i could have worded it better, and its my first year to lad

Haven't read the while post but I'd be the first to agree with Gem.

The plan was great in theory (although I did wonder when the shell was being cut up and Nissan bits just welded in) but I really hope the it was the cars fault by not doing the driver justice.
It was the quite frankly hilarious watching it to try keep a drift going.

Would have been far more competitive an actually a pretty decent pro car if the BMW suspension was left with just some coil-overs and a few simple and cheap tweaks but I suppose it's nice to try new things too.

To do tha kind of chassis modification you really need to be starting from pretty much scratch and do alot of space framing and definitely have some sort of a chassis jig and that's only after hours spent with the pencil and paper designing it or on CAD programmes or the geometry will be totally off.

If somebody thinks the constructive cristism is being a dickhead, they are quite entitled to go knit picking at my car when (being the defining word :o) it's built :)

As damo said i listened to ya at fermoy and said it was only on stardard shocks then hence the bottoming out, i have no problem with what was said but just thought a forsale thread isn't the place for it if ya get me...

As i said above constructive critism is always welcome and helpful but not in a for sale thread, the build thread is here http://www.driftireland.com/showthread.php?t=3062 if ya want to throw your 2 cents in, but as you can prob see in your own build thread constructive replies are rarely seen.

The replies in my own thread are just John and Paul trying to wind me up as usual.

Like Gem, I only said what I said on here as the car seemed as if it wa being broken now going by the previous posts, I wouldnt have said it was all wrong if I didnt think it was being broken in fairness... At least not on it's for sale thread anyway :)
Don't take any offence by posts saying the geometry is all wrong though as I know how hard it is to build a chassis around a shell as I've done it myself before and it's a bloody nightmare unless you cut 90% of the shell out and spaceframe everything an that's a huge amount of work.

Probably should make it more clear if it's being sold as is at the moment or actually being stripped ;)

i get what your saying alright, as i said i will be broke and transfered into another car if it don't go this week:)

dude i would'nt break it..these e30 bmw's do work with some set up look
at remo and larz two falken drivers in europe with e30's and they work..i know larz as i sold him the 1jz conversion for the bmw..i can ask him what set up he uses.....

you should also put it up for sale on driftworks..should sell fast off there with
the right price tag
