I'll get wheels when the fund situation gets better, wheels are last on the list at the moment!!

Got a decent amount of work done today, had a couple of pinholes in the filler so smoothed them out and got it into the shed to finish off the bay. I said I'd give the painting a go myself, it didn't turn out too bad either which is great!! I'll get the car back to my house tomorrow and finish off a few bits and then I can start putting it back together :)
Good stuff Joey
Would ye not fire it back together whilst it's in a garage
I would but Anna-Marie's dad asked me to bring it home after it's painted cos the yard is full and he needs the extra space, he said I can bring the engine crane home. Just having the breakfast now and heading over in a few.
Yeeeeooooo!!!!! Finaly got the car in the shed to be painted

I was lucky enough to have the use of this shed to do whatever work was needed, so with everything preped and ready it was time to get it masked up and sprayed :)

The guy who was originally supposed to be painting it was fucking me around and turned out to be a total dick so I decided to give it a go myself!!

Its kinda hard to make out in the pics the colour and TBH it looks black when you are looking at it, but when you shine the light on it you can make out the proper colour (and yes i know most of you will think its pointless painting the bay MNP but sure I like it and thats all that matters!!). After I had finished spraying the lacquer I headed home and left the car tucked up for the night.

Soooooo after a long rest (and a few cans) it was time to collect the car and bring it home as I had done all I could do in this garage.

And there she sits, back at home waiting for the next few bits to be done. Next ill be dropping the subframe to give that a small tidy and lick of paint, change the steering rack, fit the longer LCA's and then I can put the new brakes onto the car. Bring on the christmas holidays as ill be fairly busy ;)
Between all the eatin', drinkin' and rainin' over the last week or so I only got a few small bits done to the car. Got the front subframe off the and brought it into the garage to get it tidied a bit before I put the engine back in.
