So the next big step in this build has taken place.
Got an e46 m3 landed to the shed yesterday. Gonna use the S54 engine in the e36.
If all goes to plan this should make the car very competitive, fingers crossed everything works!

nice power upgrade! whats the m20 flywheel like? thinking of getting one for my 323i what clutch and release bearing were you using with it ?
M20 flywheel transformed my car, got it lightened also, give Dave at HD Engineering/Alienworkshops a shout on facebook.Quote:

A good clutch and lightened flywheel makes such a difference to a car. It's better than getting a power upgrade in my opinion.
