went down to pick it up last night but the snow was a bit much, didnt want to chance driving it home. need a back bumper and a passenger door handle, then the sideskirts to be painted and fitted. then ive to polish my wheels before i can put it back on the road.
Any update ?
Seen this today down at Frank keanes..Holy shit Its a stunning car man ,a credit to you !

built and test fitted my 16s last week, still waiting on my coilovers to arrive, when theyre here itll be off to the bodyshop to roll and flare the arches.
she is one lovely e30!!!
love the BBS wheels on her and with coilovers on the way she is going to be minty mint :cool:

sump guard is really being put to the test, well worth the money.

little update, bought an e36 for winter about 3 weeks ago, was driving it for a few days after buying it. the e30 was parked in my garden while i was driving the e36. i was planning on dropping it to my panelbeater on the monday, was goin for breakfast on sunday and jumped into the e30 and tried to start it, and it turned over with no compression. compression tested it and checked the timing, timing is ok. have not had the motivation to look at it since.
bought an m52 2.8 for this on friday, should be a bit of craic when its done.
will be removing the old engine next week id say.
will do until i can afford an m3 engine.

Right bit of an update.
I had bought an m52 that i was going to fit into this, but i had no job for about a year so no money to buy bits for it.
my thinking was id fit the m52 and then when i had enough money id get an s50 and it would be handy to swap that in then.
well an s50b32 came up for sale on here that was kinda too good to miss out on, had relatively low miles and loads of preventitive maintenence done on it, so i put a deposit down on it and scrounged up the rest of the money for it.
I still have to collect it, but its there waiting for me, nice one Dave:p.
I started getting bits to fit it yesterday, bought 2 brand new e34 ujs.
Ordered an Eisenmann race e36 m3 system today off Super4.
Am in the middle of sorting out a price on a BTB conversion manifold.
Engine isnt coming with a clutch and flywheel, but i would have been replacing them anyway, thinking of getting a UUC flywheel and e34 m5 clutch package, but will be waiting a bit to get them.
going to order some akg mounts maybe next week.
Im hoping ill be able to find someone to modify the sump as i want to keep the twin oil pump setup.
Engine is coming with alpha n software on the ecu, so i plan on making the most of that and running open throttle bodies:D should sound fairly nice!
will hopefully be finished before the big meet next year.
will have some body work to do though too, still needs the arches rolled and a bit of damage sorted, has also been lying up for nearly 2 years now so the paint is in bits id say.:(
