the 4 door iS actually was special since it was built so BMW motorsport could use an E36 as a touring car and 320bhp from them wasn't too bad either. Shame the road car was left with a shitty 140 though and fookall other nice parts besides a plack on the dash! :rolleyes:

hey the old shell is surely worth 100 euro!! the windscreen is mint in it!!......it even has a PD visor :D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Hope its ready and running just as good as before for round 2! Its just not the same without the deafening roar of that M3! Some car!
this really was the only way ye were ever going to ge rid of all that heavy bulkhead sound proofing and messy wirig and air-con stuff I suppose :D

Be interesting to see the previous owners face looking at how it ended up because as far as I know he was one of those anal freaks that even goes replacing little bits of interior trim if it had any bit if a mark on it.
That windscreen would want to be worth a fair bit to go to the hassle of getting it out in one piece too if you were bothered to do it!
Unfortunatlely both windscreens are badly cracked.
Must check to see if there was windscreen cover on the yellow one
