Can you not just transfer your insurance over for the day? I presume it wont be taxed but if you say it is just back on the road that day I'd presume you'd be fine.

Just kidding the other set is for the cousing lol!!!!!!!
those wheels look the job, Where did you get the r1r's out of and how much?
I work as a tyre wholesaler cant be giving out trade secrets now can I!! All I can say even tho were in the trade these were fucking expensive!! Still cheaper than camskill but not by a whole lot. The T1R's are a different story can get them fairly right. Could have got r888 for around the same price but I want to drive the cam on the road as well and R1R's were the best all rounder r888 are a bit hairy in the wet!!
T1R's are in a completely different league to these (lower one obviously) T1R's are excellent value but not up there with Goodyear F1's or RE050's. They got a name a few years back and became the brand whore's choice of tyre there been used less and less now BUT the R1R's and R888's are unreal just a pity there so frigging dear!! The R1R's are semi-slick the T1R's are not.
T1R = Great budget tyre for everyday driving
R1R = Excellent wet/dry tyre to be used at the odd trackday
R888 = Grippy mother fucker in the dry scary mother fucker in the wet really should only be used as a track tyre only although they will pass the NCT so...??
them wheels have serious lookin offset:D
Just read through full thread, nice build, looking forward to seein pics of these wheels on, was only looking at them the last day, did you with gold or bronze, hard to tell from pics...?
god they do look like a serious offset, cant wait to see them on the car.....
Got the 2 sets of coilovers fitted today (me and the cousins) and trial fitted the wheels on his cam, There fair mental looking in person the pic dont do it any justice these pics are without spacers.

Also anyone thinking of a new set of coilovers and are on a budget the BC's are well worth it. I couldnt drive mine on the road because its not insured but the cousins was sound not to hard on the road but not too soft either just right!! 30 way adjustment on them too.. Michael in Barry's Motorsport is who I got mine off, Sound lad and easy to deal with.
Without spacers
Looks deadly :)

That car looks wicked mate !!!
car look savage keep up the gud work:p
Fibreglass bootlid + TRD spoiler moulded in all in one job ordered today. Once this comes, Ive to do 2 front wheel bearings then its going for paint. A quick trip up to Martin to have her running sweet and I can be finally back on the road after nearly a 2 year wait yipee (back to annoy Greg in the soup haha). Should have it back well before xmas fingers crossed. Also thinking of changing wheels again. :(
Same as this:

Savage dude, well ware :)
Thanks, I'm afraid I'm not gonna like it after paint, I'm terrible, constatly changing my mind. I wanted all black, now I'm going red with black bumpers but still the red along the top of the bumpers. If the wheels dont suit was thinking of getting the same as Darren Mc's 13" compomotive's in the same specs? I think that colour scheme might work better, sitting on its arse with mild rear arches sumtin like EBN or Runfree (not full over fenders not to gone on them)?:confused::confused:
Great stuff! Yeah it hink youd be right to sell on the wheels you bought the car is gonna be sweet as but i think those wheels will let it down tbh and i think you know it too!
Make the plungge for awesomeness and just be broke for a few weeks. Its well worth it!
Just had mine out the road i freakin love the 20v! rips up compared to the 16v!
Skip back a page for what it may look like was trying to be a bit different with the wheels as never seen them before (may still work I dunno have a few pics here i'll dig them out), What ya think of the comp idea?

Comps would be awesome too which type? PDdans watanabe style or the MCNsport "N2" style?
The ones on the "N2" would be awesome in a 14 or 15 x 9 -28 or so all round!
Yeah man all the money youv spent itd be a shame to sit it on those wheels i think.None of the car there are doin it for me personaly.
What about this guy jay hes got em on ebay in 14 and 15
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RS-WA...s#ht_816wt_841
Go the Danstoy AE86 Colour Scheme with those wheels...
I think 15's be a bit of overkill on my little 165bhp thats part of the reason I might put mine up for sale but i'll what its like once its on the road. CXR's are the ones I'm talking about
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...otiveCXR-3.jpg
I would absolutely love a set of wats but I always back out of paying huge money for wheels I just cant bring myself to pay €1500 for them (im still waiting for that one person who dosnt know what there selling to snap up a bargain lol I missed a few times!! you've got to be quick on 86irl). A set of comps in 13x10 like this with 13x8 fronts works out about 700odd (I know there not comps in the pic but same spec's)
13x10's
