Iv a spare shaft here aswell ya can have it if ya want and im only out the road.......

Theres nothing wrong with a bit of clutch kicking!:D
I'd say it was just unlucky that ya broke the output shaft shane, its usually other bits that'll break first!

if some of you fine gentlemen are willing to give me a shaft....:eek:wait i better word this a little more carefully. if someone is willing to give me the shaft that i need for my gearbox, then i suppose i could rebuild it and see how it goes but if it happens again in going for an rb or z32 box conversion :cool:

just to add a conclusion to this thread.
i finally got a chance to put the car up on the lift and start stripping to see what happened the gearbox, and i found the problem. it is as i suspected, the output shaft has snapped in two.
look at the state of it.........cant get the feckin thing out of the prop now, theres always something eh...

that looks nasty it actually twisted before it snapped judgin by the state of the splines
