at the moment i'm running the site, there's also other moderators and site staff.

Im not in a position to arrange the stand for japfest this year (too close to herself's due date). But happy to help in any way i can

Been following some of the talk about this on FaceBook, I really hope the irrelevant shit is kept out this year and I also hope that there is more of a show layout and not the usual half arsed car park we usual see in Mondello.

I despise the straight line set up! Clubs/groups need to have their own cordoned off area with some sort of a layout.

Ok, So we have to organise this properly if its being done. Seeing as you have started the thread and contacted Mondello, do you want to take the lead on this GTSr32? (ps, whats you name) Ill help any way I can. It seems like we are all interested but dont know whos taking charge and dont want to tread on anyones toes but as Andrew isn't in a position to be hands on for this someone has to take control or it'll end up a shambles.

So, if GTSr32 is happy to take the lead this, can we start forming a structure and plan for this. Namely;
1) number of cars that can be placed in paddock as part of the Driftireland stand?
2) What, if any, materials have we to set up a stand on the day?
3) how confrimed entry to the stand/paddock is supposed to work - do we pay on day or pre-buy tickets individually or as a organised group?

should we start with ringing mondello and see what spaces can be allocated to this stand at maximum then sort the definite cars that will be there so if we have 25 cars that are certain to be there and allowed 30 find another 5 for example?? id have no bother paying now and organise a time to meet early as a group and all drive in and park togrther to avoid confusion? just a suggestion.

Best off some one person taking charge, get onto Andrew about site banners, orgainise a tent, get onto Mondello about how many is allowed, orgainise the required amount of cars, meet at a location near mondello and travel in together to avoid getting split up and set up inside and boom there you have it stand orgainised.

Yes, meeting beforehand is a good idea, just have to see where suits everyone and what time we have to be at mondello.

This is exactly what I think we should do. Andrew has said he will organise banners but has no tent so has anyone thats on for doing the stand got anything suitable?

Heyya Guys ! yea i sapose lol

As for organising.... We will pre-book! and then i just need people at mondello early! like 8- 8:30 at lastest! i want the place's all sorted a week at max before hand! Iv loads to sort with the full event! but will take a lead here.

If someone can bring some sort of TENT then cool if not we just go and set up...

keep ideas rolling here....

I'd presume the 10euro is just the price of entering your car on the stand? You still have to buy a ticket for the event at the gate.

Its hardly €10 on top of the €18 entry at the gate for the sunday to be part of what modello are having as a feature of the show? Although this wouldnt be a surprise!!
