Well time for an update as its been over a year!! God time flies!

So as im sick of the kit, and its a pain putting the car on a lift coupled with the fact I want to go for a different look I've decided to overhaul the exterior of the car!

Quick pic of how she looks now, although the wings are now off the car aswell as all door handles, locks and rubber trim. Respray time!!

Right last few weeks been back at this thing trying to get it ready!!

Plans have changed as i cannot get an Autech kit so back the the original kit!!

I have sold the silly width wheels so biggest job was sorting the arches!!

First pic will be how the looked after all the fiberglass was removed and the arch taken off!!

The gap between the inner and outter wing was a pain in the ass but a friend of mine whos handy with a welder sorted them out that the will look back to stock just with a lot more space to lower the back!!

I have more pics but not on my comp at the mo!!

The bumpers and wings are fully primered and rubbed down ready for paint this weekend the body will be primered.

But im off on holidays on the 29th so for two weeks nothing will be done, frustrating as im just getting into the swing of it!!

In october it will be 2 yrs since I have driven it on the road so getting very excited now!!

Il keep you's posted over the weekend!!

So the first 2 pics are of the arch after being sanded down before the primer, last two pics are after the 1st coat of primer.
I now have the whole car rubbed down and may re-prime one or two areas but overall it's basically ready for paint!

And this is the colour I have chosen, it's a Ford Australia colour and the flash is on when I took the pic it is darker in person

Thinking of teaming it with matte black or bronze concave wheels when I have the cash!
So many colours to chose from let me kno what you guys think!

Hard to see from the pic but did you get much flare on the rear arches?? How wide of a wheel can you run at the back??

Joe they aren't massively flared, in the long run I want the Autech kit so I won't be running massive width, itl look a bit shit with the kit I have now but it can go low and with a bit of camber I'm hoping il pull it off, and if I ever get an Autech kit itl look beast!!

Haha Mick iv been lying low for awhile, so embarrassed that I sold out and drive a BMW now :-(

Sold the Weds last year to sluiside on here!

So have been working away on this the last week after work for an hour or two a night.

So have all the door locks, handles, seals and trims on, aswell as the door cards on the inside and just today fitted the bumpers which were sprayed earlier on in the week!

So this is how she looks right now,

I will fit the skirts last as I want to have her on the lift without it being a trip to lift her!

All thats left is tires, coilover locking rings, and then get her sitting nicely without rubbing and shes ready!!
And to paint the wheels matte black.
