sorted most of the issue with it running shite, one of the FMIC pipes wasnt even connected the jubilee clip was just sitting around the pipe, so tightened it all back together and it seems to be boosting a bit decent :D got a few bits for it this week :D

gonna order a walbro 255 now and gettin splitfire coilpacks off christy when he gets his lazy arse back from sunny sand dunnes
Awh good working going on here!!!!!
Hope that AFM sorted ya out!!!!
FECK that dave Christmas is a time for giving so get Marie and chris to give some time to the car while your mother cooks the dinner lol
Car is going to be a nice job when finished
On another note you know you evo injectors are circa 500cc or more and they slot in to the rb cheap upgrade (except you need 6) rather than spending big money on sards or the like
just a small update,
got my walbro 255 during the week,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...1012011204.jpg
and i got bored today so i thought id do a bit of stripping,
got all the interior out from the front make it easier for us to get the loom out when we go at it :D
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...1012011203.jpg
should be starting on the conversion monday or tuesday next week, hopefully have it finished by the weekend, (fingers crossed)
why the hell are you taking the loom out you wont need to change it iirc??open to correction but all I think is you need to use the engine management part of the loom for ecu??
Auto to manual- better off doing the lot as you'v access to the manni dash loom and clocks, keep up the good work lad
i tried searchin online for an info on adapting the loom but couldnt find anything, so since i had the two full cars i thought it would be easiest to swap everything over, didnt know if part of the auto loom would bring up faults when the manual loom was put together, not a whole lot of work, so played it safe
nice build lad best of luck with it:D
When putting in the fuel pump best to run a direct feed to it and have it switched through a relay using your ignition feed.did you get the 255 high pressure or low pressure can't remember the part numbers for the high pressure.
update time,
i dropped the donar car off at waytoofastforu's gaff on sunday eve after i got back from mondello,
on monday we got a the fmic stripped the loom pulled into the engine bay and most of the ancilleries detatched,
so today we went back at it and got alot of bits out,
we removed the engine and box, loom, diff, propshaft, halfshafts, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and clutch line, also took out the brake master cylinder and lines, the donar car had no abs so thats why im using that,
the worst bit was the hicas shite being in the way and oozing fluid all over tha gaff,
also got the boost controller and turbo timer removed,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...6012011207.jpg
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...6012011208.jpg
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...6012011210.jpg
now we just have to remove everything from the 4door and begin refitting.
STAY TUNED
tis time i did a bit of an update on this,
we got the engine and box refiitted to the 4door late last week,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...7022011215.jpg
it all went without a hitch, gearbox mount just needed a lil pursuading to line up perfectly, also had to change the powersteering pump as the manual engine had an extra outlet for the hicas,
i got a steel braided line made up for the clutch,
also got the walbro pump fitted and is whizzing like a dream,
got the rear 5stud hubs and brakes fitted,
also fitted the rear strut brace.
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...7022011213.jpg
also got the front brakes, hubs and coilovers all round fitted :D
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...8022011218.jpg
the exhaust from the 2door fitted perfect also,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...8022011220.jpg
also got all new joiners for the FMIC piping, so after i drilled the holes for the piping we fitted the intercooler and trimmed the bumper bar,
also took a tin of nitromors to the HKS that was sprayed onto it,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...8022011222.jpg
got a another turbo for it yesterday so we fitted that today,
we went to start it the other day and it wouldnt even turn over, had power to all the interior electrics but nothing happening at all in the engine bay,
so obviously it wasnt enough just changing the engine side loom,
so we stripped the interior loom out today, im picking up the manual interior loom tomorrow so hopefully we get that refitted in no time, and we will be ready to see if she starts:D
all we hav left to do it bleed the brakes, bleed the clutch and refit the gearlever and change engine oil and filter,
hopefully she will be ready and mapped for march :D
well worth the effort lad keep it up
oh yeah!!! saw this car in the flesh last week, fucking mint it is!!!
ah its not a bad old conversion in fairness doogle..we jus need that interior loom:D
SAVAGE when ya going skiding dave??
im paid up for the comp in port in march, so hopefully i have her mapped by then :D
impressive build lads keep up the work
Awh loking the amount of working going into this.......!!
must get mine finished up!
Roll on the 18th for some new bonnets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no need to change the interior loom lads, the problem you are haveing is because the auto box is now gone what you need to do is run a trigger wire from the ignition to the starter and she will be mint
there was a few connectors missing out of the fusebox but i assumed they wer from the auto box, and the block connectors didnt seem to clip together properly, and when it wouldnt start i just put it all down to the loom not working properly, only took bout 20mins to take it out anyway, we didnt actually strip the whole loom just the bit that goes under the windscreen and out to the headlights, and we only took that out when it didnt start, was just as handy to take the dash out for when i fitted the clutch pedal i dont think i would have got it in too handy otherwise,
so should have the interior loom back into it 2moro and will run that wire,............. what will i do? just run a wire from the live on the ignition to the live on the starter? and it should be good?
im guessin its a red wire? im hopeless at wiring so i have to ask :(
When the loom is out would you not just rerun the manual loom to save any messing?? And then use the manual clocks aswel.
i dont hav the manual loom to hand or the clock. I left it al in the donar car when i scrapped it..... Wat a terrible idea that was. I do see your point tho. But i never do things the easy way
wel i tried running the wire fromt he ignition to the starter and i blew a 75amp fuse ( which was impossible to find a replacement) also fried a few more relays so i had no option but to change the interior loom, fair play to jonny (200sx) he stepped up with everything i needed, so off to tramore with me to pick them up,
so we fitted that and it turned over on the first turn on the key, we bled the rad and took if for its first spin................................ it lasted all of 5 mins until DISASTER STRUCK :(
the water pump exploded out of the block and put the fan out through the rad,
so we stripped the water pump out of the auto engine and re-fitted that yesterday,
also replaced the rad with a very good nick alluminium one
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...2022011233.jpg
also took a trip to icetronix to pick up my carbon GTR bonnet, also got a set of pins off lorcan in drift2,
also got around to re-fitted and trimming the front bumper,
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...1022011226.jpg
so i was bored and couldnt wait until i put my meisters on it :D:D
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...1022011225.jpg
http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...1022011230.jpg
they require 225's fittin to the front and a bit of camber for them to fit snug,
on a good note, the rb25 turbo i fitted made a serious job to it im delighted with it,
just have to bleed the alloy rad and its good to go again (fingers crossed)
at this point i have to say a MASSIVE thanks to waytoofastforu for all his help with the build, id be rightly wanked without em,
really dunno what todo about the wheels yet, i love how low its sitting with the 16's,
and i cant afford to run 18's on the rear for skiddin,
anywho. WHAT YA's THINK??
looking good ted can i please have ur meisters
Hope ur happy with the bonnet??? ill have an up date later too
lookin well ! is your front wheel a bit pushed back ? tink its called castor could be wrong ?

schweeet!
iv actually got 32 rear spats if there any good t'ya
@chris. yeh bud im over the moon with the bonnet, its a serious piece of work in fairness, good job i had the bonnet pins, the latch on the bonnet was about 2 inchs further back from my catch,
@git no lad its just the wheels are slightly turned in the pics i never unlocked the steering when i fitted the wheels haha
