Some more progress today.... Cage is bolted down, still gotta connect prop and crossmember.
Got all engine and wiring hooked up, new oil filter arrives tomorrow, so hopefully once Paul is finished work tonight I can get the car in on the ramp and make all the final adjustments, fill up with oils and fluids etc, and hope for the best tomorrow that the key will turn :D

I now hope and pray that there is no issues if and when we start it due to having no more time to adjust anything major, I only have until tomorrow (Thurs) evening/night to have the car running sound as i fly back to Ireland early friday morning and return within hours of the cars getting loaded on the transporter for Portugal on sunday/monday :smash:
Pray for me people!!! LOL:thumbs:

Well, let me give you one of my FINAL updates on this car..... I fly back to Ireland tomorrow and only return to load the cars onto the transporter for Portugal next monday..
So, the anticipation....
Today I have gotten some jobs finished up around the engine bay...
Horrible standard turbo elbow (there was to be a new one with the car but wasnt)
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0845.jpg
TRUST Downpipe fitted..
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0846.jpg
And De-cat...
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0847.jpg
Exhaust fitted & made fit...
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0848.jpg
Put some water in the radiator & it decided to come back out the water pump :(
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0850.jpg
So another hour to remove, clean & re-fit a spare water pump
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0851.jpg
THEN..... The moment of truth arrived.... FItted a battery, and some lights cae on, good start!
Turned over the engine until the oil pressure light went out, CAS sensor was re-fitted, turned key.... then realised the fuel pump was disconnected :wack:
SO............... The first turn of the engine..... (Click on Image below for a pop up window. cant figure out how to post direct)

ITS ALIVE & IT WORKS :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
So after this, it was time to get it into the garage and onto the ramp for another check over.
We found some bad boost pipes on intercooler so replaced these, some sparks from the alternater :wack: and some oil leaking from the relocation kit.
While on the ramp we decided it was a good idea to do some chopping and cutting to modify the steering!
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0855.jpg
Some new Tein rods and ends we "took" from Alex's project, but he offered them!
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0859.jpg
More lock
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0862.jpg
Finally..... :D
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0863.jpg
But all didnt go as smooth as we would have liked! Upon tightening the oil sensor in the housing... we didnt realise we made it worse, so while attempting to drive the car for the first time (off the ramp to parking area) i noticed some fluids draining under the car... A LOT!!!
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/IMG_0864.jpg
While tightening the sensor it made the crack worse & spat out all the fresh oil we had just put in :smash:
But no funny noises made from the engine and it was shut off straight away.
Garage-D have a new housing waiting for us which will be collected in the morning hopefully Paul will get the time to fit it for me.
Id like to say a big thanks to Alan Green, Alex & Paul for helping me out, and Alan for spending the day today with me finishing what needed to be done before turning the key
well done dani, hope all goes well in portugal
