wel from my experience if ya get good jap 16v 1 should b well able 4 skiddin 2nd gear in dry , u just need lots off entry speed !!!

Standard 16v in our car was pullin 3rd in mondello last sunday on the dry track + if you get one with a 4:7 cwp it will def do 3rd retro head from here was manjing the full straight of mondello with a standard 16v you just have to rape it so in other words its sooo much fun to drive and youl find yourself entering corners hella quick:D

i dunno kevin mine is hardly bog standard ,coilpacks, msd full apexi straight thru could even have mild cams goes like fuk thats all i know!4.7 is the job!

as the lads said if your commited to a twincam youll knock fun out of it but you have to be seriously commited and enter fast ,the sooner you have the pedal on the floor with the engine screaming the better,thats the safe place!
youd be better off with a daily with more power i reckon, twincams get ye in trouble of all kinds:rolleyes:

have both a standard 16v and an sr conversion, and the 16v is by far more fun to drift, as stated in the above posts you have to really drive them in and out of a corner but once you get used to how the car handles (and this is true of every car) you`ll be grand. i can get mine round mondello wet or dry with no handbrake in 2nd and have a ball doin it.

as a daily there not to bad, can be a nightmare on a back road, but thats really it.

dont be tempted by a cheap 1 that needs work mate, lads have fell in2 that trap be4, make sure theres no noises from the axel, not popin out gear, no smokey engines and of course the body under the rear seats etc

standard 4age will show any drivers flaws, u have to be pedal to the headlight with them, lads buy turbo cars to cover there flaws because they arnt skillfull enough to do it in less powerfull cars and then think there drift kings:D

no ur takin me up wrong...
some lads like the challenge of a 4age, some lads prefer the ease of driftin in turbo power
it takes a good driver to drive a 4age on its limits

anyone i ever seen drifting has always looked boring and sloooow!!

i think it was the drift king himself that said, anybody can drift a 300bhp car it takes skill and alot more work to drift 16v 4age
