i had 40 psi in my road wheels last time i was in nutts and they delaminated after 1 lap....ONE FECKIN LAP due to the heat! so i ran after, although my old tires that were sitting out in the garden months lasted ages with 30 in them.

I found my car goes better with lower pressure, 22 - 25 in front, 25 - 30 in the back. Then again this depends on conditions and power etc..
i run 25psi front wet and dry and rear is 45psi dry and 25psi wet
yesterday i was running 30 psi on the front and 40 psi on the back.
50psi on the back :D
