well then your best bet would be mondello regardless of how far away from it you are, ring and see what days are for drifting and try and book yourself in on a weekend that theres drifting on elsewhere the same weekend or weekend before or after and you could get lucky and it might be quiet so plenty more tracktime,
your right ive been out a lot since chrimbo and only i was let go this year id be out be every second weekend
i know what your sayin about bc as any time i went it took me half the day to get the back into the swing of it from the previous time, not critizing bc its just i need a lot of time to learn and get used to a car thats sitting up on axle stands and getting worked on more than its driven!
so a couple more times in mondello and ill be hopefully back up in bishopscourt in the autumn a lot more confident and used to the car
peace out sham:)
I think mondellos cheap for the amount of tracktime you get...! Savage value in my eyes...!
Do both ya rich bastard. :p
dont get me wrong bishopescourt is probably the best track in the country and aghadowey before it was even better.what all this boils down to is seat time and it aint enough any more.wayne and the lads cant run practice days because they only have it for one weekend every month{thats what im told not gospel}so there doing all they can.
so when it comes to practice time ur all saying mondello.
what is the price break down up there because ive never been.
also i hear the wet the track is this true.
is it marchelled properly or is every one out together 10 plus at a time.
is there going to be the idiots there that go diffing infront of you as ur coming on full lock or is this a complete no no up there
see my post hes never set foot in the place yet has a strong opinion about it!
@damo ....eh well its like a racetrack nobodys going to be diffing on the corners!and of course its properly marshelled, usually theres three groups but if its quiet as i said there can be two which is nice
they do wet the corners which is kind of a bitch, helps my yoke along i suppose but understeers like fuk,if you do it on a good dry day the track can dry quick enough between them wetting it,necessary evil i suppose.
there was a half day on saturday which was nearly three hours driving for 75 euro
Well one thing is for sure you will run out of petrol before tyres whats the story with wetting the track. they also let way to many cars out on the track at 1 time some fool near wrote off my yoke up there the last time i was there span out in front of me and tore into a load of rings when i was passing him in a white omega or carlton i forget met another car as i was coming through the hole in the hedge he was going the wrong way the same day i near opened the lad when i got into the pits.
