I cracked the discs on mine, and it makes a fair old racket, but it was a continous noise whilst the wheels were moving. Like it doesn't just come and go.

id the same problem with my jzx100 cracked the rear disc also...had two project mu disc's and they still cracked rear brakes get very hot..got two
new discs off toyota and seem fine now
chuck if you have broke a drive i have two here..pm me a pic of your drive
shaft when you get it out and il match it up..
