but if you notice that event is being held in a town so i cant see it being any different than the donegal or galway rally.. spectators dont have to buy tickets but instead spend loads of money directly into the local economy in shops, hotels, burger vans, pubs and other stalls selling drift tat like t-shirts, flags, hats etc... so its not just the organisers that make money everyone does..
if we were only able to setup an authority separate from the motor club that runs the rallies to govern and regulate our sport so it may be legitimately recognised as a motoring discipline then we would be able to approach a local town council about holding a touge event and actually be taken seriously...
