sorry lads, meant to update this yesterday.
couldnt get a 4pk890, but got a 4pk885 with the plan to adjust the altenator to the right tension, and it was still way too loose at fully adjustment.
the right belt is actually 4pk850.
but, the 885 worked by swapped the adjuster block to the outside of the stop on the bracket, and putting the bolt through the other side. not a permanant solution, put worked perfect for now.

got it running again last night and off the road. head was melted at the thought of it left at the side of the road like that.

do u want chassis num mate?? can sort you out there...plus I tink the rb20 belts are similar on the external side of things as I rb25'd a 32 and used the belts I had from before..iv chassis number for 32 & 33 anyway shout if your stuck

thanks man, but i got sorted in the end. also found an r33 skyline manual in english in a pdf document if its any use to anyone it could be made a stickey if its not already on the site somewhere.
