Ya and also the transport cost must be pricey enough getting 3 or 4 cars from cork to kildare must be saucy enough id say.

Yeah I suppose, when ya think about it ya can see why the cost but how many people do they take on each day? Do ya get to pick which driver ya get in with for the day or do they mix and match between drivers throughout the day?
I done it about four years ago in rose green and that time there was only two cars a 325 and a 180 and they way it was worked back then was miguel marini was in the 180 and billy nolan was in the 325 and you swaped around cars each run i think there was about 10 lads the day i done it.
Split us into teams when I was there with Driftkits. so we had one instructor all day, but there was 40,000 of us turned up so may be able to swap if theres a remotely sensible amount of ye's going :D
We had James Deane and Dean Kearney takin our group, Peden Neilsen (sp?) and Eric O'Sullivan were taking another group too.
i still think its over priced.
sure if they lowered the price to get more interest, they could get more money in the long run holding events more often, instead, they have a few events to grab as much cash in one go as they can.
Well lads, only getting a chance to write back on my weekend at this!! Ive to say I loved it!! Id James Deane and Damian Mulvey as my instructors..2 absolute nut jobs in a car! still can not get over their skills!! Serious respect for both lads before this, now way more!! got on pretty well but I absolutely hated the hydros!!:o Im probably the only cunt in the world who prefers the standard handbrake! everytime I pulled the hydro I held on for a fraction tooo long and lost too much speed, but when doing same thing in the s14 with standard hand brake i could feel it more and controlled it better!! had a great day even if i FUCKED UP the little competition at the end!! could of done way way better!!
Banzai Corolla Guy was there teaching as well and the woman got a spin with him, think she's hooked now!! nice one Donal!:D
But now here is my dilemma.... Im half thinking of selling the s15 and buying a good drift car( like dave ziegens skyline) and a jeep to pull it maybe..... fuck it anyways!! dont wanna sell the s15 but the craic was 90 on track can only imagine how much id enjoy mondello etc and besides I can drive the s15 hard on the rd (too much ;)) so what to do????
Dont think its worth putting the 15 on track b4 anyone suggest it!! :D
Glad you had a good day man, had fun teaching you! :)
Nice to see you getting more involved in the drift scene ;)
that skyline has serious potential. sell the s15 and buy that and a cheap diesel runabout.
Daves skyline is basically gone anyway btw.....
Popped out for a quick look at weston on sat. Couldnt see much but saw your 15 in the carpark alright. Would be deadly to hold an event there, but couldnt really see it happening.
